BIO
Jo Meier is a Nashville recording artist with a voice and presence made for the spotlight. A pop singer with a soaring belty tenor range, Meier draws inspiration from powerhouse divas like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Ariana Grande, and Celine Dion while channeling the theatricality of icons like Adam Lambert, Freddie Mercury, and Elton John. Equal parts showman and storyteller, Meier creates music that is bold, emotional, and unapologetically true to self.
Currently finishing a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Music at Belmont University, Meier has already built an impressive résumé both on and off the stage. He’s sung backup for Grammy-winning legends Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood, performed at the Grand Ole Opry twice, and served as Vice President of The Pitchmen, the two-time world champion ICCA-winning a cappella group. These experiences have sharpened Meier’s artistry and fueled a passion for delivering performances that resonate deeply with audiences.
2025 marks a breakout year for Meier with the release of his debut project. The first single, “Not Your Therapist”—a cheeky, empowering pop anthem—drops on Halloween, setting the stage for his upcoming EP “For Me,” arriving January 1. The project blends heartfelt ballads with big pop hooks, showcasing the versatility of a vocalist who can belt with the best while still capturing raw intimacy.
Whether commanding a stage with arena-sized energy or crafting vulnerable lyrics in the studio, Jo Meier is poised to carve out a unique space in pop music. With undeniable vocal power, magnetic charisma, and a vision rooted in authenticity, Meier is more than an emerging artist—he’s a star in the making.
